You can find someone through their school if that school has an on-line web site that includes alumni lists. These databases are usually generated by the class reunion organizer or by the school's charitable donations department. Even if the person's name is not listed a call to the donations department might lead you to someone who would be willing to forward a letter. The American Alumni Directory lists over 20,000 K-12 schools with links direct to each schools directory. Yearbook High Community includes links to school reunion sites while also hosting school reunion web pages. SchoolNews.com keeps a running directory of over 30,000 high schools and colleges. It lists members information and you have to register to use it. ClassReunionSearch.com has a database similar to SchoolNews.com High School Alumni.com specializes in American high schools. Net Detective comes with an Investigator's Notebook which helps you keep track of the who, what, where and when of your search. You can learn more about it on the software page.
