Flip's Search Resources
Flip's Adoption Resources
These sites will help you in while performing a birth-family search. The first place for an adoptee to go is to the Adoptee Internet Mailing List or AIML. This mailing list provides you with great networking opportunities to help you with the searching, in reflecting on the reasons for your search and the possible impacts your search may have on others. Please tread lightly and tell me about any other items you think belong on this list.

Net Detective
One of Net Detective's best features for a birth-family search is that it lets you keep track of all your contacts, information you have gathered, and lists resources for the search all in one place. During your search, it's nice to have an accurate paper trail so you can see what you've done. For more information on how Net Detective can help you, see my Software page.
